Due to growth, FocusPoint International, located in Plantation, Florida has a full-time position available for a General Accountant to work within our safe and modern corporate office (in person, office-based position). This position will support our finance and operations team in managing the accounting functions involving numerous projects throughout the U.S. Monday through Friday workweek but must have flexibility to work early evenings and weekends as needed.

This position is best suited to some one who is able to manage payroll on a bi-weekly basis for a small company (20-30 employees both salaried and hourly). This position works closely with our executive management team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds an Accounting or Finance degree and is familiar with accounting software packages like QuickBooks. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. The ideal candidate should be easily adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.


The primary function of this job is to conduct daily activities relating to the accounting function by fully using job-relevant technical skills, maintaining/updating technical skills and seeking to enhance accounting skills. This job requires the employee to be able to complete all essential functions listed below as well as the tasks of the Accounting Representative/Specialist/Coordinator.
